Is there any way to take shows off the archive that you personally have posted? I notice several fixes or updates of shows, have you ever thought about removing ones that aren't the best representation?

You're not supposed to remove them. All versions should be up there. Also, I have never uploaded a Grateful Dead show to the archive. Others take them and do it. I have never done bit torrent either. I just upload the shows to my friends ftp and others do the rest.

You can always sort them by "date added" under the "check for other versions" button. Makes it a snap to find the newest upgrade.

It's also the show they played in texas on the 4th of july, where bobby screwed up the line in jack straw where he is supposed to sing "leaving texas 4th day of july"....go figure.
